About Me
My name is Jeff Burns and I am a founder and partner in Talkie 21 Studios located in NYC. I am also a writer and filmmaker with experience cutting features, music videos, several advertising projects, sixty or so live musical events, various experimental theater, and I have a background in networking and collocation. I’ve written three books, the latest of which is a serial novella about lightning you can find at the Boy Bedlam Review. You can find four of my short art films on YouTube.
Rather than simply championing professional work, I hope to focus on crossing the boundaries among the art forms to help filmmakers apply their other strengths to film. Whether you are collaging, writing, or designing in photoshop, the tricks of the trades seem to know no boundaries. This new millennium is the breeding ground for Cross-training film-makers.
